Description:

Oak area near the city of Lugo with some rotten wood where dead Lucanus cervus was spotted last year. Another female was spotted in a park near the city.The route starts through pine trees and then comes a broad area with oaks . It can be walked east-west-east and there are some rotten oak logs in the middle so it may be a perfect habitat.
There is a wide variety of beetles in the area: Paracorymbia stragulata,Coelometopus clypeatus,Oedemera nobilis,Mylabris quadripunctata…
The vast majority of the area is covered with oak trees, chestnuts and other species.
